Colette Nataf: The Happy Ending to My Burnout Story
About halfway through her PhD studies, Colette caught founder’s fever and made a beeline for Silicon Valley. That was 7 years ago, and she has been here ever since.
She started in marketing at MileIQ (acquired by Microsoft), ran demand generation at Intercom, and her startup, Lightning AI is now serving 300+ clients and rapidly growing (but at a scalable and strategic rate).
In addition to her role as CEO, you can also find her speaking on AI, looking for new mom friends and writing about her experience as a female founder.
About this interview
Founders go into their businesses with open eyes and fire in their hearts, aiming to change the world.

You take on more than you can chew. You realize you need to raise money and that people are depending on you. Everything seems to be getting harder.
Why couldn’t everything just remain as motivating and fun as it was during that first year?
